Government funding for air purifiers
To ensure virus-free indoor air, have you already equipped your company with air purifiers or are you planning to do so? Then let the federal government support you in this project. As part of the Corona bridging aid, you will also receive financial support for air purifiers.
THE APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED! SECURE IMMEDIATE CORONA AID NOW – APPLICATION DEADLINE August 31, 2021
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR TRANSITIONAL AID?
In the second phase of the Corona bridging aid, the conditions for the funding conditions of companies nationwide were revised and improved. From October 21, 2020, companies that are affected by a slight loss of earnings can apply for funding.
If your company meets any of the following criteria, you can apply for government support:
- Sales decline of at least 50% on average in two consecutive months between April and August 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year
- Sales decline of at least 30% on average in the months of April to August 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year

WHAT IS THE GRANT FOR AIR CLEANER?
The amount of the grant is of course just as important as the question of who will receive Corona’s transitional aid in the first place. In principle, the maximum grant is 50,000 euros per month. The amount of the reimbursed portion is based on the decline in sales in a certain month compared to the same month of the previous year. * The following applies: The greater the decline in sales, the higher the percentage contribution to the fixed costs.

Slump in sales
(compared to the same month of the previous year) |
Amount of the portion reimbursed
|
---|---|
>70 percent
|
90 percent of the eligible fixed costs
|
≥50 percent and ≤70 percent
|
60 percent of the eligible fixed costs
|
≥30 percent and< 50 percent
|
40 percent of the eligible fixed costs
|
Eligible fixed costs are e.g. B. electricity, water, heating, cleaning and hygiene measures. This means that the costs for certain investments are reimbursed on a pro rata basis. This also includes the cost of purchasing air purifiers *. In fact, according to the Federal Environment Agency, air purifiers can be used as a support measure for air purification in order to reduce the risk of infection with SARS-CoV-2 indoors. **
Air purifier from Airpura
Thanks to the attractive funding conditions, this is the right time to consider such investments in your company. The Airpura air purifier was specially developed to be installed in rooms with little effort.
In principle, the Airpura air purifier is suitable for all rooms up to 80 square meters. The use of the latest EC fan technology enables air to be exchanged up to 6 times per hour.

Bridging aid III – improved, expanded and supplemented!
The resolutions of the Prime Minister’s Conference of January 19, 2021 are a new feat of strength and continue to call for discipline in the interests of all of our health and the economy. In order to maintain the substance of the economy, transitional aid III was expanded and supplemented.
Uniform admission criteria for contracts
All companies with a decline in sales of more than 30% are entitled to staggered reimbursement of fixed costs. This means: no more differentiation in support according to different sales lows and periods, months of closure and direct or indirect effects.
Extension of the monthly funding
Increased funding ceiling of up to € 1.5 million per funding month (previously € 200,000 or € 500,000) within the limits of EU state aid law. The funding months are November 2020 to June 2021.
Advance payments for your company
The upfront payments are available to all eligible businesses, not just those affected by the closings. They will be possible up to an amount of 100,000 € instead of the previous 50,000 € for a one-month grant.
Recognition of other cost elements:
- For retailers, losses in value of unsaleable or seasonal goods are recognized as eligible fixed costs;
- Investments in structural modernization and the implementation of hygiene concepts as well as investments in digitization and modernization can be claimed as cost elements, e.g. B. Investments in setting up or expanding an online shop.
